Invisible Bead Extensions™

IBE was created to solve 3 major problems encountered with the different types of hand-tied methods available. First and foremost was the damage to the client's hair and scalp from tension and over-direction. The second was client discomfort due to the contact of beads on the scalp and the common "clamp and crank" bead approach. The third was the complete lack of versatility and styling options that clients experienced. Exposed beads, bonds and braids when they wore their hair up was a major problem. And you can now say goodbye to all 3!

FAQ

  • A new install typically ranges from $660-$3600, depending on your goals, the amount of hair, and the method chosen. Maintenance visits are less, averaging $170-$780 every 6-8 weeks, depending on whether it’s just a clean reinstall or if color services are included.

Exact pricing varies based on your current hair, density, and desired end result. For the most accurate estimate, please apply!

  • Yes. With over 9 years of experience as an extension-only stylist, I make sure every installation is safe, secure, and customized to protect your natural hair. I pay close attention to how your hair responds during the process so there’s no unnecessary tension or damage.

That said, the long-term health of your extensions — and your natural hair — depends heavily on how you care for them at home. Proper at-home maintenance is key:

    • Washing: Use extension-safe shampoo and conditioner, and avoid overwashing.

    • Drying: Always dry your roots completely to prevent slipping or matting.

    • Brushing: Use an extension-friendly brush and detangle gently from ends to roots.

    • Styling: Limit high heat, and always apply a heat protectant.

    • Sleeping: Wear your hair in a loose braid or ponytail at night to reduce tangling.

    • Products: Avoid heavy oils or products with alcohol that can weaken bonds.

In addition to daily care, you’ll need to come in for reinstalls (or move-ups). How often depends on your unique hair:

    • Your personal shed cycle

    • Any autoimmune conditions or health factors that affect hair growth/shedding

    • Your personal preference for how fresh you want your extensions to look

For most clients, reinstall appointments typically fall every 6–10 weeks. By combining safe installation, consistent maintenance, and the right timing for reinstalls, you can enjoy beautiful, natural-looking extensions while keeping your hair healthy.

  • The timing of your appointment depends on the service and how many rows of extensions you’re having installed. I always schedule enough time to make sure your extensions are placed carefully, blended seamlessly, and look natural.

    • One row reinstall (with clean hair): about 1 hour 45 minutes

    • Full reinstall (with clean hair, multiple rows): about 3 hours

Keep in mind that your first installation or consultation may take a little longer since we’ll spend extra time talking through your goals, matching your color, and customizing the placement.

I structure every appointment so you have a comfortable experience, never rushed, while ensuring your extensions are applied safely and beautifully.

Certified Color Specialist

A hair color specialist is considered an expert in the techniques and procedures involved in altering the color of people’s hair, whether to hide gray or just create a different appearance. Although many hair stylists offer coloring as part of their services, a hair color specialist is someone who concentrates on coloring and thereby can offer more specialized and skilled services.

A hair color specialist not only mixes the color and dye or treat a person’s hair, but also helps to determine the right coloring for a particular person. One of the most important aspects of the job is consulting with clients to find a color that best complement their natural coloring while also achieving the look and style they want.

Once the desired color is determined, then begins mixing the hair color product to match the specifications of the job. This typically involves mixing several colors in order to reach the intended shade, as well as adding adequate toner. Then, various techniques are used to apply the color, such as frosting, highlight foiling, and all-over coloring.
